Rey: I want to believe that you’re our ally, Tobyn, but I don’t know anything about you. So I’m just letting you know right now that if there is a trap waiting for us behind those doors, you will be the first one I kill.

Tobyn: Tobyn understands, but Tobyn is your friend. Tobyn would give his life to help elves. This is very old fortress. Tobyn find it long ago and only tell Ellia about it. Very secret, but only safe passage through mountain.

Scene: Rey and Aiko then push open the doors and marvel at the site behind them

Tobyn: See, no trap. Tobyn help. This way friends

Scene: Tobyn then leads them across the bridge to the entrance on the other side.

Scene: After opening the next set of doors, they make their way into a great hall.

Scene: Before making their way through crack leading into the fortress, Tobyn warns them…

Tobyn: Tobyn spent many days trying to find way through fortress. It is a maze of rooms. But Tobyn find way out. Tobyn show you, but stay close, easy to get lost.

Scene: They come to a locked gate and Tobyn stops to think about which way to go.

Aiko: Are we lost already.

Tobyn: Tobyn needs to think. AH!

Scene: Tobyn runs past them and jump onto a torch. Hanging there he smiles at them.

Rey: Maybe he spent too much time down here. I don’t think he’s right in the head.

Scene: Then the torch handle moves down and the wall it hangs from swings open.

Tobyn: See, Tobyn remember. Hidden passage. Tobyn show you. This way!

Scene: While crossing through a dark room, Rey stops, sensing something was wrong.

Rey: Something doesn’t feel right

Scene: Just then a goblin runs across the room and grabs up Gess. Rey and Aiko chase him to the wall, where he puts a knife up to Gess’s neck.

Goblin: Don’t come closer elves or I will cut her throat. This seer is my way back into the Queen’s favor. Don’t think I won’t kill her if you don’t let me pass

Aiko: You’ll be the only one dying today if you don’t release her.

Goblin: I think not. This is a seer. You won’t risk her life to save her. So back down.

Scene: He moves around Aiko’s staff and starts to back towards the exit.

Goblin: I’ve been watching that little Phooka for some time. I knew he was up to something. Where did that little spy go?

Scene: As he drags Gess past the pillar, Tobyn swings down and stabs him in the back of the neck. The goblin then releases Gess and falls back. Tobyn then drops to the ground. Gess runs into Rey’s arms.

Gess: Tobyn thank you! I thought he was going to kill me.

Rey: We are all in your debt. I am very sorry for ever doubting you.

Tobyn: Tobyn understands. You know not Tobyn, but Tobyn will always be friend to elves and pixies. Goblins kill Tobyn’s family in front of him. Wife and children, because he would not show where we had hidden seer children. Goblins torture Tobyn for many days before Ellia was able to save him. I am devoted to Ellia’s quest to destroy Orcs and goblins, and remove their evil from our land.

Gess: I’m sorry you lost your family. Such a horrible evil to happen to someone as kind as you.

Tobyn: Tobyn thank you young Gess, But now we must go. Tobyn fears that one goblin might bring many others.

Scene: They made their way down deeper into the fortress until they came to the dock and prisoner holding section. As they walked past the torture pits, Gess sees a skeleton hanging and gasps.

Tobyn: Follow river, it will take you out of mountain, through canyon. Stop when you see river cottage, Falco, friend of Tobyn will show you trail. Follow trail through woods to large pond. Tobyn thinks you will find Wood Elves there. Maybe they can help find what is missing.

Gess: Goodbye

Scene: As the three make their way out of the cavern, Tobyn says to himself…

Tobyn: Tobyn think you are sky people. After Ellia saves seers, Tobyn will share this with her. Tobyn then thinks that soon we will be saved.
