Chapter 34 - Orc Throne

Scene: While Queen Vulsa is sitting on her throne a couple of pixies, a seer and her husband, are brought before her. The seer’s husband is held back next to a wolf that is growling at him, the seer is brought before the queen.

  • Queen Vulsa: Amira is it? I understand that you’ve seen a vision that might be of great use to me, but Tokar tells me that you’ve had a sudden loss of memory. Is this true?

  • Amira: It’s not a vision like any that I’ve seen before. I didn’t recognize the elves or the place. It may have been a false vision that may be of no help to you.

  • Queen Vulsa: How about we let me determine what is and isn’t useful to me.

  • Queen Vulsa: Oh look, isn’t that you husband?

  • Scene: Togar brings Amira’s husband into the throne room with wolf by their side

  • Amira’s Husband: Are you ok, Amira. Did they harm you?

  • Queen Vulsa: Now about that vision. What did you see?

  • Amira’s Husband: Don’t tell her Amira. I’m prepared to die to keep her from destroying our people.

  • Queen Vulsa: Of course, Amira, the decision is up to you. Either watch your husband get eaten before you or spare his life and tell me what I want to know.

  • Scene: The wolf growls closer to his face.

  • Amira: Ok, I will tell you, just don’t hurt him.

  • Scene: As her husband reaches for her, the wolf clamps down on his arm and he screams in pain.

    Amira’s husband: Amira, no!

  • Amira’s Husband: AHHHH!

  • Queen Vulsa: Ooh, that does look painful. Such a nasty animal. But I guess it does serve the purpose of reminding you of what could happen if you should have any foolish thoughts of not giving me the whole truth…

  • Queen Vulsa: Now, let’s hear that vision of yours.
