Jeanneau Sun Kiss 45

The Jeanneau Sun Kiss 45 is a 45 ft. Monohull sailboat designed by Philippe Briand and built in France by Jeanneau starting in 1984.

Designed to be a coastal/blue water cruiser, its amenities include 3 cabins and 2 heads, salon seating for 6 with a starboard galley. Equipment includes a Simrad autopilot, Garmin navigation, depth, speed and wind gauges. Also included is a water maker and 3000 watt inverter/charger. The engine is a newly rebuilt Perkins 4108 diesel.

  • Repairs & Upgrades

Prior to my ownership, the mast step had been replaced and underwater lights installed. Additional hull repairs had also been made. I have since installed a rebuilt engine, upgraded the inverter/charger and replaced the autopilot compass.

  • The Before

Outside of needing to be repainted, the exterior deck and hull were in good shape. The interior, however, over the years had fallen into disrepair. This is where I will be spending the bulk of my time, updating her appearance and design and replacing old systems and appliances.
